Should the advantages of CDL be transferred to Halo?

There has been a heated debate since the move where Formal, a former Call of Duty League pro, decided to move to Halo. The debate has raised a question, should CDL advocates switch to Halo?
It’s a serious debate that needs to be discussed because of the recent launch of Halo Infinite. This game, in turn, is starting to compete and may well surpass Call of Duty in general when it comes to popularity.
History of Switching to Halo from Call of Duty
Recently, Frosty has really returned to Halo from the moves that Halo has made. Frosty set the trend for CDL professionals to join Halo. The likes of Aqua and Formal decided to join Halo after participating in the Call of Duty League for many years.
History of Switching to Call of Duty
However, there have also been a lot of transitions from Halo to Call of Duty. The majority of Call of Duty pros started with Halo. Pro players like Crimsix, Huke, and Shotzzy are just some of the pros who started their careers in Halo.
What are some of the Advantages?
There’s a lot of talk in favor of switching to Halo from the Call of Duty League. One point of professionalism is that there is better competition and more competition as well. This is because they are an open group that any team/player can play at the highest level. CDL, for now, doesn’t have that.
Another pro point is that HCS is brand new after a few years. This is a new hot game that everyone is playing and watching it. They’re watching it more than Call of Duty on streams.
What are some downsides?
There are also a lot of downsides to switching from CDL to Halo. One problem is that Call of Duty League pays more per contract than Halo. There can be a lot of times when Halo pros may not make as much money as CDL pros.
Another thing that could be is that the Halo tournament can be very time consuming with a lot of different things to worry about as it is a brand new game. While Call of Duty hasn’t changed in 23 years, the number of Halo games is half that.
All in all, this can mean a heated debate. This may be the reason for a lot of professional CDL to switch to Halo because it is a brand new and exciting game. Could this have implications for league changes? Or will it cause its downfall?
