Simon Baker’s detective film ‘Limbo’ lands at Brainstorm Media – The Hollywood Reporter

Brainstorm Media has picked up Ivan Sen’s crime drama limbo ahead of its North American premiere at the 2023 Toronto Film Festival on Monday.

The Australian noir, which screened in Berlin, is being released through a partnership between Brainstorm Media and Music Box Films. limbo Simon Baker plays a jaded detective who investigates the unsolved murder of a local Indigenous girl.

As the truth about the murder emerges, Baker’s character gains more insight into the unsolved case through the victim’s fractured family, surviving witnesses and the main suspect’s reclusive brother.

Brainstorm will handle digital and home entertainment distribution for the drama following its theatrical release by Music Box Films in March 2024. Brainstorm and Music Box Films have already collaborated on the release Mama Weedwith Isabelle Huppert.
