“limbo examines the deeper impact of a crime on an Indigenous family through the eyes of a white police officer. The source of these ideas comes largely from my personal experience, family members and friends who have been victims of crime. I witnessed their fight not only for justice, but also for fairness and recognition by the Australian justice system,” said Sens, who also directed Mystery Road And Goldsteinsaid in a statement.
Brainstorm will handle digital and home entertainment distribution for the drama following its theatrical release by Music Box Films in March 2024. Brainstorm and Music Box Films have already collaborated on the release Mama Weedwith Isabelle Huppert.
