Sky News presenter Laura Jayes and husband Alex Hart are offering their Bondi home for $3million

Sky News presenter Laura Jayes and her husband, former Channel Seven journalist Alex Hart, are selling their one-story Bondi Beach home.

The couple have listed the three-bedroom, one-bathroom cottage with celebrity property guru Gavin Rubinstein of Lux Listings Sydney for $2.8-$3 million.

Jayes, 38, and Hart bought the 1910 classic semi-truck in May 2021 for $3.05 million.

The couple had planned a lavish $1.36 million renovation, reports the Daily Telegraph.

But now the couple are selling the 280-square-foot property after Waverley Council approved the lavish renovation in September.

Included in the building permit were plans to add a second floor and pool, as well as an elevator through an internal passage.

Jayes, 38, and Hart (pictured here) purchased the 1910 classic semi-truck in May 2021 for $3.05 million.

Other highlights of the Old World charmer include a large backyard, large living areas, and a sunroom overlooking the street.

The kitchen features a Caesarstone kitchen and gas hob, while two of the spacious bedrooms have fitted wardrobes.

It comes after Jaynes and Hart sold their last home in Bondi Beach for $3.8 million in March 2021, after buying it for $2.59 million in 2017.

Hart recently ended his 17-year television career as a television journalist after landing a job with road maintenance company Transurban.

Jayes, who married Hart in 2015, is now a regular presenter on Sky News.
