Speaking of 90 minute YouTube channelJamie Redknapp spoke about Mikel Arteta and some of his bizarre training methods highlighted in the All or Nothing documentary.

The Spaniard’s methods were on full display when Amazon finally released the first three episodes of their documentary last week and there was a moment when opinions were divided.

Before the Gunners’ game against Anfield, Arteta had his team practice while playing “You’ll Never Walk Alone” over surround sound speakers at the training ground.

Some believed it was a great way to prepare your players, while others thought it was a bizarre method.

Redknapp falls violently onto one side of that fence and claims it was one of the craziest things he’s ever seen.

Redknapp spoke about Arteta’s methods.

“I think a lot about the negativity and how he was portrayed from the show that just left. Putting You’ll Never Walk Alone on the speakers is one of the craziest things I’ve ever seen. It’s really bizarre because you can’t replicate that, it’s too tiring,” said Redknapp.

We hate beating Mikel Arteta too much. After all, he’s done a decent job at Arsenal, but playing “You’ll Never Walk Alone” during training is a bit of a ridiculous thing.

Yes, we understand it’s meant to recreate the Anfield vibe, but that was a trick pulled straight from Ted Lasso’s playbook.

You’d imagine a TV or film character like Mike Bassett or Ted Lasso doing something like this and playing it for a laugh, but Arteta really took charge of a Premier League training session in this way.

The fact that Arsenal lost 4-0 at Anfield makes it that much more ridiculous too.

Arteta is doing a lot of things right in his management, but we think it might be best for him to keep his speakers off the training ground from now on.
