Accordingly TMZ On Sunday, a manager of the 56-year-old musician announced that he had left the hospital and was now being cared for at home in the hospice. The representative revealed that all stars The artist reached end-stage liver failure after struggling with alcohol addiction throughout his life. Since he left the hospital, the outlet reported that friends and family have been visiting Steve for the past few days as he likely “only has about a week to live.”

This news comes after Steve retired from the music scene in 2021, shortly after a disturbing and controversial incident in which he slurred his speech, yelled at the audience and once appeared to perform the Nazi salute. He said then:
“Ever since I was a kid, I’ve dreamed of being a rock star who performs to capacity crowds, and I’ve been extremely fortunate to make that dream a reality. It has been an honor for my bandmates to perform with you all these years and I can’t think of anyone I would rather have embarked on this wild journey with. Thank you to our loyal and amazing fans, all of this was possible thanks to you. I tried so hard to get my physical and mental issues under control and play in front of you one last time, but I just couldn’t make it.”
