Fans believe a DWTS pro will take a season off.

Pregnant Dancing With the Stars pro Witney Carson may be planning a fall ballroom return — at least, that’s what some fans think. On March 10, 2023, Carson posted a Q&A on her Instagram Stories and many people asked her about her upcoming move to Florida.

One person asked if Carson and her husband, Carson McAllister, would be returning to Utah, and the ballroom pro indicated they plan to travel back.

“I have a feeling we’re going to be going back and forth quite a bit, especially in LA,” Carson said. That was enough to kick Conversation in a Reddit thread Some fans think Carson has hinted at a return to DWTS following the birth of her son, who is due in May 2023. However, others believe that Carson could skip season 32 but return to the show in the future.

Carson competed on season 31 of DWTS and placed third with partner Wayne Brady. She has not announced her retirement at the end of the season, nor has she indicated she would not be returning to the show. Some fans believe the birth of their second child could be a reason for them to take a season off.

Some fans don’t believe Witney Carson will be back in season 32

Though Carson hasn’t said if she plans to return to the ballroom for season 32, which is expected to begin sometime in late summer or early fall of 2023, it seems like she’s keeping her options open.

“We’re keeping our home in Utah. I think it’s a really good backup for me in case I don’t love Florida for some reason. Or if we want to come back. My whole family is here. It’s a really tough step. Really, really hard step for us. So we wanted to stay rooted here,” she said on her Instagram Stories.

Fans reacted to their Q&A answers on Reddit.

“I think this season I could see her take another break. But if that’s the case, I could definitely see them coming back for future seasons!!” commented one Redditor on the thread.

“Unless she meant la for a business opportunity, but I would think since she did, she wanted to move on. Season 32, I’m not sure if she’ll come back, but it seems like she’s open in the future.” someone else added.

“She often travels to LA for influencer events,” pointed out a third DWTS fan.

DWTS pro Sharna Burgess decided to sit out season 31 after the birth of her baby boy, Zane.

“I wasn’t willing to go at least 10 hours a day without Zane,” Burgess said in a video shared to her Instagram stories ahead of season 31. According to TV Insider. “I say ten hours because it’s not just time in space. It’s the travel time, the preparation time, the hair and make-up time. Sunday and Monday are whole days away. I’m a full-time breastfeeding mom, and not only that, I’m just so in love with just being a mom,” she explained.

Other DWTS pros expecting babies in 2023 include Danielle Karagach, Peta Murgatroyd and Lindsay Arnold. Murgatroyd is the only one so far to have said she plans to return for season 32.

“I’d like to be if they want me. I’m here, I’m ready. I will give birth and rejoin within the seven weeks that I have been with Shai,” she said said Us Weekly in March 2023.

Witney Carson & Carson McAllister are moving to Florida in June 2023

Carson shared the news that she and her family were relocating to Florida from Utah in an Instagram post on March 9, 2023.

“Well folks, we’re moving… TO FLORIDA!! As difficult as this change is, I know it’s right for us right now. I’m full of emotions but I’m really looking forward to experiencing this adventure with my little family. I accept the change so here we go 2023!! Will keep updating here love you all,” she captioned one post.

During her Q&A, she went a little deeper into that decision when someone asked why she and McAllister chose Florida.

“So we’ve actually been looking for a warm place for quite some time – about two years. And my sister-in-law moved to Florida about a year and a half ago and we just fell in love with the area that she lives in. And this house just became available. And so we decided to jump on board. And it happened really, really suddenly. It happened in five days. And yes, it just feels right and it feels good. And we are happy to be in warm weather even in the winter months. So it’s going to be fine,” Carson said on her Instagram Stories.

Carson also shared that they wouldn’t be moving until June 2023 — after she has her baby and has a little time to recover.
