Spirit of the Island gets physical release for Switch
Publisher Meridiem Games announced today that it will produce a physical version spirit of the island at the counter. It will be available in autumn.
Meridiem Games will be responsible for the creation, publishing and European distribution of Spirit of the Island’s special Paradise Edition. It includes a special cover with new artwork, an exclusive sticker set featuring some islanders, and a travel guide so you don’t miss out on any of the wonderful things to do on your island.

A VARIETY OF ACTIVITIES – No matter how you spend your time, you will gain experience and improve your skills. Spirit of the Island has 10 unique abilities such as farming, mining, foraging, social, crafting and even fishing, available as their own special mini-game.
YOUR JOURNEY TO A TOURIST PARADISE – Make your island not only a welcoming home, but also a booming tourist haven. The more tourists you get, the better your economy will be, which is a crucial step in funding your trips to the far-off islands.
THE BEST TRIP EVER – Every tourist will have a chance to love your island so much that they decide to stay and thus increase the city’s population. This part is crucial as you can task them with doing various things for you such as: B. to take care of your business and help you with the upkeep of the island.
THE POWER OF TWO – One of the key features of Spirit of the Island is a 2 player cooperative mode where you can do everything together! You’ll have all the features of the single player mode (even quests) available in the online game, and it will also feature its own unique adventure as well as resource sharing, which means you’ll be able to use some of the resources you find into your own multiplayer campaign.
HUGE TROPICAL ARCHIPELAGO – Spirit of the Island features 14 unique explorable islands, each with its own fauna, secrets and dangers. Information about who – or what – inhabits these islands has been lost to history, but you will find mysterious caves guarded by ancient creatures – are you brave enough to explore them and uncover the mysteries within?
THE LOCAL COMMUNITY – The archipelago is alive! Meet more than 14 unique characters, each with their own traits and quirks.
AN EVENT-FILLED LIFE – One of the unique features of Spirit of the Island are Events – a series of recurring events that occur each game year (4 months). They come in a variety of forms, such as NPCs’ birthdays and Ocean Days, as well as your own unique events. There is always something going on in the city, so check your calendar regularly!
