Meteorologist Suzanne Horgan, *** Only a few showers are possible today. It doesn’t look like it will be anything very widespread and I certainly wouldn’t abandon my plans, just be prepared for the possibility of a few scattered showers out there. We may also see a few isolated rumbles of thunder and a few storms that could shape the landscape. We don’t expect any storms. And then it seems to be pretty warm this week. In fact, we’ll be talking temperatures into the 80s for several days this work week, and then we’ll welcome fall as we prepare for next weekend. Let’s talk about the forecast for today. We expect temperatures today to most likely rise into the upper 70s. And since I mentioned there’s a risk of some spotty showers, you can see those moving through the region, especially as we head into the midday and early afternoon hours. And then it looks like a dry spell ahead as more showers develop and move through the region as we head back out this evening. Nothing that makes today seem overly severe or terribly widespread high temperatures around 78 degrees. Tonight temperatures will drop to around 58 degrees with patchy rain then clouds will decrease overnight partly cloudy skies are expected tomorrow it looks to be a very pleasant day for us and on your Tuesday we’ll be back in the 80s and Wednesday. In fact, by Thursday the upper 80s will return to the mid 80s for Friday and Saturday.
