Stardew Valley creator shares new look at Haunted Chocolatier
Stardew Valley Creator ConcernedApe has shared a mysterious new image of his next game. Haunted Chocolatier.
Posted to XThe image shows an old man waking up and saying, “I just had the most horrible dream.” ConcernedApe captioned the image, “Here’s a cursed chocolatier scene.” The context for the screenshot isn’t entirely clear, but that didn’t stop people in the comments from speculating that it’s the same grandpa giving players their farm Stardew Valley. This has led to further speculation that players could take on their role Stardew Valley Siblings of the character or the game is kind of a prequel or related in some other unexpected way. As of this writing, this is really just speculation, and none of ConcernedApe’s follow-ups have resolved the matter, at least as of the time of writing.

Although the man’s model in Haunted Chocolatier really resembles my grandfather’s appearance Stardew Valley, there are several differences and it’s entirely possible that people read too much into the screenshot. However, considering how sparse the details on the game are, it makes sense that people would be looking for additional information. As a Stardew Valley Players themselves, I was looking forward to learning more about it Haunted Chocolatier since the game was first announced in 2021.
As far as we know Haunted Chocolatier is that the players run a pastry shop. Combat will again be part of the game, as will the opportunity to romance different townspeople. Additionally, in 2020 ConcernedApe announced that it was producing two Stardew Valley-Similar projects. He said one would be a farming game while the other would “tie in”.
