US stock futures ticked lower ahead of a second day of testimony before Congress by the Federal Reserve Board chairman Jerome Powell which will focus on the course of interest rates and the economic outlook.
Futures on the S&P 500 fell 0.4% and futures linked to the Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 0.3%. Changes in futures do not necessarily predict movement after the opening bell.
