Stone Cold Steve Austin had a serious collision at WrestleMania 38 despite a neck problem

Stone Cold Steve Austin retired to showcase at the highly anticipated event WrestleMania 38 on Saturday night, and the boy delivered, in many ways.

Six times WWE The champion returns to the ring after 19 years to challenge Kevin Owens during a No Holds Barred match in his hometown of Arlington, Texas.

Austin was originally a guest on the KO Show until he was challenged by the host to a live match. Something the fans present and millions of followers back home love so much.

The atmosphere was lively as Stone Cold gained the support of the entire crowd back home.

All was not smooth sailing, however, as the Texas Rattlesnake received a dent in the exposed concrete outside the ring.

The 57-year-old, who had previous neck and back problems, was thrown backwards, but collided like a champ.

You can see the bump in the GIF posted by WWE below.

Although the official Twitter account didn’t say a word, they summed it up pretty perfectly by posting only 12 shocking face emojis.

Not only WWE was shocked, the whole Universe couldn’t believe the collision they just witnessed.

After scuffled outside the ring and in the crowd before returning to the ring, Owens then hit the Stunner; a famous move by Stone Cold himself.

Owens then grabbed a chair and lunged at Austin, but missed the target; The chair popped off the rope and hit him right in the face.

It was a stroke of luck that Stone Cold demanded, as the former WWE champion went on to hit Owens with his signature Stunner to win.

Stone Cold is back in the WWE ring and back to competing in a proper match. What a beautiful sight!
