Storms in Queensland: Person struck by lightning during severe weather
A person is fighting for his life in hospital after being struck by lightning on a suburban street during ferocious storms.
Queensland Ambulance was called to a street in Brendale, north Brisbane, after a person was struck by lighting around 2:30pm on Sunday.
The person was treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in critical condition.
