Stray Bug sees the poor kitty in a bizarre head over heels situation

Our sweet and lovable feline friend seemed to be in quite a bind during Stray gameplay.

Whether you’re a cat fanatic or not (we hope you are now), BlueTwelve Studio’s latest furry endeavor has taken the gaming world by storm. Let’s face it, it’s a cat world anyway and now we have a video game to prove it. From jumping over rooftops and knocking items off shelves, Stray allows players to live their best feline self.

Even in such a cute and amazing game, those annoying bugs and glitches can still appear, as one gamer found out.

As you stroll through the neon streets and dark alleys StrayReddit user Lindsiiiiii encountered a strange glitch that caused the Ginger Moggie to go headfirst into the ground. In the short clip shown on Reddit, Stray stuck while its rear end twirls in the air. While the player tries in vain to get the kitten into the right position, the poor cat just drags itself across the floor, making this sane game something of a horror title.

Thankfully, our feline friend manages to pull himself together as seen in the last second of the video. Like everyone else watching the clip, one comment asks, “How do you do that…I want to try it,” to which Lindsi replies, “I honestly don’t even know how it happened, in a minute I went normal and the next minute i left wasn’t lol”.

Another comment below the Reddit video has its own story to tell about a weird gaming situation Stray.

“Here’s a joke. As soon as you enter or exit Upper Town, go into the fenced area with the lone robot not speaking to you, stand on the ledge behind the radio, and then look at the radio to watch get prompt to turn it off and on again.” says Spoon_Elemental “When you press it, the cat glides over to the radio to press the button, then immediately snaps back into place.”

Played and reviewed Stray, I can’t say I saw any weird bugs or glitches but this makes me play it again to see if I can find any. (As if I needed another excuse to dive back into this game).

Stray is now available to play on PC, PS4 and PS5.
