Stunning aerial views show Niagara Falls almost completely frozen like western New York

Stunning views from Niagara Falls show inches of fresh snow after a devastating storm battered buffalo and left dozens dead.

A rainbow could be seen over the tourist hotspot on Tuesday as spectators in winter coats gathered to view the partially frozen falls.

Aerial footage captured the aftermath of the cataclysmic storm, with snow plowing onto the sides of sidewalks and icebergs near the waterfront.

The monster storm swept through upstate New York over Christmas weekend and quickly became the deadliest storm in 50 years. About 50 people were dead on Tuesday.

“Unfortunately, the police expect that number to increase,” tweeted Buffalo Mayor Byron Brown.
