Sunshine, warm Sunday; Rain chances at the lower end of the limit return next week

Posted:

Fall got off to a good start in central and southern Alabama. Morning lows were mild, ranging from the upper 50s to low 60s. Afternoon highs were in the upper 80s to low 90s. There was plenty of sunshine across the sky throughout the day, there were fair weather clouds and no rain. Saturday night looks mostly clear and mild, with low temperatures back in the upper 50s to low 60s. Sunday looks pleasant with highs around 90° and mostly to partly sunny skies.

Next week, low chances of final rain are expected in our region again. It looks mostly dry on Monday, but there is a chance of a few showers in the afternoon. A large part of our area remains rain-free, with sunshine and fair-weather clouds. Temperatures rise to almost 90°. Isolated showers are possible from Tuesday to Thursday. Rain chances will likely decrease next Friday and then drop to zero next weekend. Temperatures will remain near normal, with highs in the mid 80s and lows in the mid 60s.
