Though Tori Meehan is perhaps best known now for being one of the 18 castaways in Survivor 42, many Tulsanians and Oklahomans may already know her as Miss Oklahoma Contestant she did four years in a row before taking part in “Survivor”. There, young Tori displayed an array of talents.

Tori attended Miss Oklahoma from 2016 to 2019, where she spent the money on her college tuition
Tori’s most prominent appearance as Miss Oklahoma may have been in 2018 when she was 21 years old. She competed as Miss Tulsa swimsuit competition (which she won, according to the Miss Oklahoma website), and played Smokey Robinson’s “Who’s Lovin’ You” for the talent area. In her CBS bio, although she didn’t name Miss Oklahoma, she wrote about how attending pageants helped her pay for her tuition, which she is very proud of. “I completed my bachelor’s degree 100% debt-free and paid for 50% of my master’s degree by competing and receiving academic scholarships,” she wrote.
Also in a Instagram post 2018 Celebrating her time at the Miss Oklahoma pageant earlier this year, she announced that she had earned a $3,000 scholarship that would go toward her master’s degree in Christian Counseling at Oral Roberts University.
Tori has spoken out in favor of eliminating the swimsuit competition
