Sutton Stracke showed off one of her self-confessed looks for the upcoming season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills – and fans weren’t sure what to think.

The stars of the Bravo reality show traditionally film their interview scenes in glamorous outfits, but Stracke’s unconventional, self-confessed look surprised fans in Season 13.

in one now deleted Instagram postStracke, 51, wore an off-the-shoulder corset number paired with statement Ranjana Khan shoulder-stripping earrings.

“Forgive me father for I have sinned,” the Sutton boutique owner captioned the picture, before tagging @Rasario for her dress and Khan for her earrings.

Fans reacted to Sutton Stracke’s unique look

Stracke’s photo resurfaced on social media, with some commenters reacting to her “ridiculous” outfit.

“Oh no! I love Sutton, but not that look! All wrong,” wrote one Instagram user.

“Sutton’s nice and all but this one fits girl no please get a stylist” another wrote.

“She looks like she’s about to milk an ox and then yodel on a snowy mountaintop.” another intervened.

“I really like Sutton, but I have a feeling her stylist doesn’t like her.” added another.

But other fans defended the fashion-loving RHOBH star. One fan wrote that Stracke looks “prettier” every season.

“If she’s comfortable in it, leave her alone!” wrote another fan her confessional robe.

Sutton Stracke previously claimed she doesn’t employ a stylist

Stracke’s fashion sense has been part of her story since joining RHOBH in season 10 as the cast’s “friend”. Early on, she showed off her huge closet full of designer clothes. But some viewers didn’t understand Stracke’s style from the start.

In an interview in May 2022 with page six, Stracke admitted that she was initially hurt by fan reaction to her unique style. “It was hurtful at first when people didn’t seem to understand my fashion choices,” she admitted at the time, before adding that she “don’t care about the negative feedback” anymore.

She added that she loves “couture” and realizes not everyone gets it. “People don’t always understand it because it’s a little bit different — but I’m a little bit different,” she added.

Stracke also revealed that she doesn’t have a stylist on her team: “Me Am my stylist,” she said. “I style myself and wouldn’t have it any other way.”

While Stracke’s style may still take some getting used to, Real Housewives’ overall fashion has changed a lot since the franchise’s first season debuted in Orange County in 2006. Bravo host Andy Cohen has been vocal about how much Housewives glam has grown over the past 17 years.

“In the early days of Orange County, the fashion was just awful,” said Cohen said Vanity Fair in 2022. “If you look at the early years of the reunions, Orange County, Atlanta and New York, They basically wore – I don’t even think what they would wear to a cocktail party. I think it was more like what they would wear to a PTA meeting.”

He added that the stars’ glamor has “really increased” in recent years, particularly at the Real Housewives reunions.
