Tanker truck overturns on Interstate 83 in York County

YORK COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) – A fuel truck overturned on Interstate 83 in York County in the early hours of Sunday, February 5.

According to the Dover Municipality Fire Service The call came in at about 3:55 a.m. about a crushed car accident on Interstate 83 South between the North George Street exit and the Emigsvile exit.

The department said units arrived to see a tanker trailer truck that appeared to have rolled off the highway and that one person was trapped.

Nothing is currently known about the condition of the driver.
