Tarek and Heather El Moussa are adjusting to life as a family of five after welcoming their baby boy — their first child and his third — on Jan. 31, 2023. The couple shared the news of his arrival on February 2, exactly a month before the premiere of their new HGTV show. Though they haven’t shown the baby’s face or shared his name yet, the El Moussas have shared insights into their new life with a newborn at home, from exhausting the new parents to trying to keep the older children entertained.

Tarek & Heather El Moussa say their “whole world” changed with the birth of their baby

After an unusually quiet few days on social media, aside from Tarek posting information about her various ventures on his Instagram Stories, on February 4, Heather shared an Instagram photo of her and Tarek at the hospital, marking the arrival of her Babies were waiting, and wrote that it was “the day our whole world changed.”

Tarek later shared a video on his Instagram Stories that revealed at least 15 luxe bouquets they received from friends and family that filled the tables and counters in two rooms of their Newport Beach, Calif., home.

“Feel the love,” he wrote. “Thank you to everyone who sent flowers. We feel so lucky and mum has been busy and tired but all I know is that I appreciate all of you who sent your love.”

Heather shared his post and added three red heart emojis. Later that afternoon, she also shared a photo of herself with the baby – although his face was covered in white heart emojis – while breastfeeding. Showing off part of her makeup-free face as she stared at the camera while her little one was wrapped in a white blanket dotted with gray stars, she revealed how tired she was.

“I’ve never been so exhausted in my entire life but also so happy,” she wrote, adding a prayer hands emoji.

Tarek El Moussa also spends quality time with his 2 other children

As he and Heather adjust to life with their newborn, Tarek has made sure to spend time with his other children as well. He shares 12-year-old daughter Taylor and seven-year-old son Brayden with ex-wife and former Flip or Flop co-star Christina Hall.

On February 4th He shared videos in his Instagram stories of an ice skating trip with his older children, holding hands with each of them and taking pictures of them skating alone. In one video, Tarek held up three fingers at the camera with the words “Dad life” next to a red heart emoji on the screen. He called out “Three!” twice, a nod to the fact that he now has three children to care for.

Tarek too shared a video taken by his sister Angelique El Moussa driving a golf cart through a neighborhood with Brayden, Taylor, Angelique’s daughter Malia and her grandma – Tarek and Angelique’s mother Dominique. In the video, Angel exclaimed, “Ride the family golf cart!” and then revealed that Malia met the baby that day.

On February 5, Tarek shared a photo from the skating trip with his kids and niece.

“Quality time,” he captioned the post. “My children are my whole world. I can’t believe I have 3 now!!!”

Shortly after the baby was born, Tarek said Us Weekly, “Becoming a father for the third time is just as exciting as the first time. Our baby boy is doing amazing and Heather was a rock star in labor. I don’t think I’ve ever seen Tay and Bray as happy as they were when they met their little brother.”

Taylor and Brayden have experience as older siblings; They also have a three-year-old half-brother, Hudson, whom her mother Christina Hall shares with her ex-husband Ant Anstead.
