Teddi Mellencamp reveals if she was one of Crystal Kung Minkoff’s 14 girlfriends

In the twelfth season of “The Real Housewives of Beverly HillsCrystal Kung Minkoff shared that she had a falling out with a group of 14 friends. The mother of two spoke about the end of their friendships in the first part of the film Season 12 reunion special. She explained that her former friends have refrained from speaking to her “since [she has] made the show.” When Kyle Richards asked her about the timeline for ending their friendships, Minkoff clarified, “It started before that [she] filmed” RHOBH Season 11. Richards replied, “So it has nothing to do with you being on TV then.”

“I’ve heard it has absolutely nothing to do with the show, but I don’t want to talk about the things that have been said about it,” said the Halloween Ends actress.

While recording a Episode of her podcast Two Ts In A Pod from October 2022 Co-host of Real Housewives of Orange County star Tamra Judge, former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave has claimed that she is not one of Minkoff’s 14 former girlfriends. She also explained that she is friends with the 39-year-old and noted that she “recommended Crystal for the show” before being fired from the series after Season 10.

“They’re not my 14 friends, I don’t know them, they’re not my friends, they’re way too rich and fancy for me,” the former Bravo star explained.

She also made claims about why the group of friends stopped interacting with Minkoff.

“Crystal not only had an issue where all these really rich women were comparing notes and having issues with her talking about them behind her back, she also told one of these rich women that she would never do housewives, she told her she wasn’t supposed to do housewives, and then housewives and that was the ultimate problem with the 14 friends,” Arroyave said.

in one Episode of her podcast Two Ts In A Pod from May 2022 Arroyave spoke briefly about her friendship with Minkoff, sharing that she reached out to her after Season 12 Episode 3 aired. The former RHOBH personality explained she wanted clarification on why the 39-year-old had a strong reaction when her co-stars criticized Sutton Stracke for making an insensitive comment following Dorit Kemsley’s robbery in October 2021. Minkoff claimed Richards was being hypocritical since she was unsupportive when she said Stracke “violated” her space after entering her hotel room while undressed in season 11.

“Crystal came in because she was my girlfriend. I referred her to Evolution. I love Crystal very much and I reached out to her and just said, “I want to understand because I don’t think what I saw on TV last night accurately reflected what you were feeling or going through,” and she said, ‘Look, what I was trying to explain was that you can’t let someone else judge how you feel,’ and I agree with that a million percent,” Arroyave shared.

When speaking to Us Weekly in October 2022, Minkoff spoke about the RHOBH season 12 reunion special. She shared that she found the first part of the reunion “hard to watch.” She then explained that she was surprised that she and Richards were at odds when filming the reunion.

“We ended the season I was like – she actually confided in me and I’m so supportive of her and her family, so I think her energy was very misdirected and I think people saw that, but , you know, like we’ve seen, people act when you feel like you don’t know where to go,” Minkoff said.
