Tetris 99 35. Xenoblade Chronicles 3 themed Maximus Cup
Tetris 99 has revealed its 35th Maximus Cup, giving players a chance to win a theme based on Xenoblade Chronicles 3.
People with an active Nintendo Switch Online subscription are eligible to participate. To receive the theme, players must reach 100 points during the active event. Points are earned simply by battling others online, but higher rankings earn you more.
The Xenoblade Chronicles 3 theme for Tetris 99 features unique background graphics, music and Tetrimino themes. If you make it to the end, you’ll hear three tracks.
Even after four years, Tetris 99 still hosts Maximus Cups, albeit at a slightly slower pace. In July the players could Earn a theme based on Pikmin 4. This year there were also fan events based on Kirby’s Return to Dreamland Deluxe And Fire Emblem Engage.
The 35th Maximus Cup in Tetris 99, themed “Xenoblade Chronicles 3,” begins September 29th at 12:00 a.m. PT / 3:00 a.m. ET and lasts until October 2nd at 11:59 p.m. PT / 2:59 a.m ET on October 3rd. We have a trailer for the event below.
