Thanks to inflation, being on your parents’ phone plan is now cool

Some adults keep their phone lines tied to their parents to cut costs amid rising inflation.

An October survey of 2,050 adults by personal finance website MagnifyMoney found that the parents of 39% of Gen Zers of voting age (defined in the survey as ages 18-24) and 12% of Millennials (aged from 25 to 40) pay their phone bills. Others fund their part of the bill but prefer to keep the group discount by staying bundled.
