Here’s the thing about college: It’s one of those things that feels so exciting and so stressful at the same time. Freedom! Friends! No more curfew! But do you want to wash your own clothes at the same time? Cleaning? And all while managing new and difficult classes? It can certainly feel overwhelming and stressful.

I keep thinking that in just a few weeks I will be moving into my very first college dorm and living away from home. am i excited Of course. am i nervous More than ever.

After weeks of comparing sites and prices (and yes, asking older college friends who had already gone through the pain of freshman year for recommendations), I found the best retailers to buy all of your dorm decor and essentials. Whatever your aesthetic or current stress level regarding your dorm room for the next year, I’m sure you’ll find something you absolutely love. I don’t even need to tell you that Amazon has everything you can think of to brighten up your dorm room. Take this three tier rolling cart, for example, perfect for school supplies, toiletries and other essentials.
