The 15-year-old singer from Newton-le-Willows releases his debut single

A 15 YEAR OLD singer from Newton-le-Willows releases her debut single on an international label.

Jennifer King first caught attention during her appearance on The Voice Kids at age 10, where she was introduced to the music industry.

The local singer-songwriter later got the opportunity to play at the School of Rock in London’s West End.

The teenage singer will now be releasing her debut single ‘Go’ later this month, which will be produced in Toronto and London by Atlantic Bridge Music.

The single has already been played on BBC Music Introducing and featured on American TV show The Young and The Restless, with the debut track expected to be released on Friday 20th January across all digital platforms.

Jennifer said, “I’m so excited to release my first single, I’ve always wanted to do this so it’s a dream come true and I can’t wait to share more music in the near future.”

Commenting on his daughter’s successful start to her career in the music industry, Jonathan King said: “We are delighted that Jennifer is releasing her debut single and we were all so proud to hear ‘Go’ played on BBC radio on Saturday.

“It’s a great reward for all of Jennifer’s hard work; she’s had setbacks with her music (and acting) that sometimes people don’t see, but she just keeps going and as a family it’s so exciting to be with her on this journey.

“We are so grateful to everyone supporting Jennifer on her journey.”

The young singer’s sound has been described as a combination of ’80s pop and modern hip-hop, with music icons Madonna and Doja Cat being credited when describing her new single.

Following the release of the single, the St Edmund Arrowsmith student will perform at Verona’s Balcony Late Lounge on Friday 20th January, followed by a performance at The Griffin on Saturday 21st January. The 15-year-old singer from Newton-le-Willows releases his debut single
