The 17-goal star opens the door for a £35million transfer from Arsenal and loves Thierry Henry

Arsenal are believed to be chasing the signature of PSV Eindhoven star Cody Gakpo – a player who grew up having absolute love for Thierry Henry.
The Gunners already have star wingers like Gabriel Martinelli and Bukayo Saka, with Emile Smith Rowe and Nicolas Pepe on the fringes.
Nonetheless, they are still linked with a big move for Gakpo, who has been shining at PSV this season.
The Athletic reported in March that Arsenal have had serious talks about signing Gakpo this summer.
Gakpo can reportedly leave PSV for £35million this summer while Arsenal face Liverpool, Barcelona and Bayern Munich in the race.

It comes as no shock to see clubs lining up to sign Gakpo this summer.
Gakpo has registered a paltry 17 goals and 15 assists in all competitions this season and has become a real star in the Eredivisie.
Much like his former team-mate Steven Bergwijn, it now looks like Gakpo could deserve a Premier League move on the back of his PSV displays.
At just 22, Gakpo seems to have a bright future and choosing the right club will be crucial this summer.
Gakpo has now spoken to The Sun about his future, but also his footballing origins – including his love for Arsenal.
Gakpo has admitted everyone wants to play in the Premier League at some point.
The winger added that while he doesn’t particularly favor any team, he likes Arsenal “a lot”.
That’s because Gakpo grew up loving Thierry Henry for their similar style. He was quite tall but started out as a left winger.
Henry became a flashy sensation at Arsenal and while that may not be the case for Gakpo, his comments could only mean Arsenal have a strong shot at a deal.
“Everyone wants to play in the Prem once. I don’t favor any team, but I like Arsenal very much,” Gakpo said. “When I was younger I looked up to Henry because he was a big guy who played the wing,” he added.
