Corresponding Fabrizio RomanoIvan Perisic has accepted a two-year contract at Tottenham and is now close to a move to the Premier League.
Now the 33-year-old will undergo a medical at Spurs and discuss personal terms with the north Londoners.
If Tottenham fans weren’t already excited then they surely will be after seeing what Perisic did to Rüdiger – one of the best defenders ever – during his time at Roma.
What’s the matter?
Well, few defenders in the Premier League have beaten Rudiger.
However, before the German traded Roma for west London, he was tied up by Perisic, who humiliated him during an Inter Milan-Roma game.

As you can see above, the Croatian embarrassed Rudiger by putting him on his backside twice before slamming in a cross.
If Perisic can do this to a defender of Rudiger’s quality then imagine what he can do against those of lesser quality.
Ivan Perisic will thrive at Tottenham
From our point of view, this is a fantastic signing for Antonio Conte.
Perisic has a phenomenal amount of accumulated experience 550 Overall, he has played for a number of top clubs in his career to date, including Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund.
The Split-born star has also gained weight 113 caps for Croatia and scored for his country in a World Cup final – coincidentally against Hugo Lloris.
That’s an excellent return, especially from a full-back position, so he seems to still have a lot to offer Tottenham.
Keep an eye on this deal as there could be an announcement soon.
