The £4million man leaves James Milner and others stunned in training at Liverpool

Liverpool earlier today released footage from the AXA Training Center where Harvey Elliott left James Milner and others stunned.

What’s the matter?

So the £4.3 million The man previously scored a great chip on Merseyside when he carefully threw the ball over Adrian between the sticks.

Elliott is seen controlling a fine long-range pass from Milner before his second touch puts the ball over the Spaniard and into the net.

As the ball was lifted over Adrian, Milner could be heard saying “Oh yes please” in the background while admiring the 19-year-old’s confidence and technical ability.

Nine seconds into the 23-second video, another voice can be heard saying “Wow” as Elliott leaves his teammates impressed with his bold finish.

Clearly the teenager has plenty of talent and it will be interesting to see if Jurgen Klopp allows him to show it regularly in the first team next season.

2022/23 is a big season for Harvey Elliott at Liverpool

In our view, next season is a very important one for the England Under-21 international.

Elliott was just beginning to make an impact at Anfield before suffering a gruesome ankle injury at Elland Road that severely disrupted his progress at a time when he was thriving.

However, Klopp is clearly a huge fan of the Londoner, having started him in a crucial Premier League clash against Chelsea last season.

The German also started Elliott against Inter Milan at the San Siro, in the Champions League round of 16 of all places, which was a bold statement from the 55-year-old.

Klopp clearly has great faith in the new Liverpool No. 19 and if he continues to shine in training we see no reason why he can’t be a key player for the Reds next season.
