The Auraria campus says “no ongoing threat to the community” after the bomb threat prompted evacuations

The Auraria Campus Police Department says there is “no ongoing threat to the community” after a bomb threat prompted evacuations Monday afternoon.

The threat was received by campus police around 1:10 p.m. and was at Lynx Crossing, 318 Walnut St., a dorm at the University of Colorado, Denver, the Auraria Higher Education Center said in a news release.

Denver Police and Fire Department, along with campus police, evacuated the building and determined there was no threat, the release said. The area was cleared at 14:51

Authorities are still investigating the incident.
