Bad Batch Season 2 is almost here!

Animated Star Wars fans can rejoice that a brand new trailer for The Bad Batch Season 2 has just been released. The video begins with a beach chase and giant crabs, adds a dash of humor and features a confident older Omega – it will be great to see what she is capable of with additional training and experience.

The Bad Batch Season 2 will have 16 episodes and will feature at least one Jedi, a Wookie who looks like a Padawan from The Clone Wars. This next set of episodes foreshadows further conflict between Crosshair and his former friends over his allegiance to the Empire, as well as one last job for Cid with her freedom as a reward. The item they would steal is a mystery, but it must be important.

Also starring in the trailer is Captain Rex and more battle droids – The Bad Batch certainly has its work cut out while it evades the Empire’s radar. Last but not least, we’re also introduced to the new character Phee Genoa, voiced by the brilliant Wanda Sykes. While we don’t know much about her just yet, the star power attached to the character means she’s sure to play an important role.

Season 2 of The Bad Batch premieres on January 4, 2023 on Disney+ only. For more Star Wars related content, be sure to browse Twinfinite as we have plenty of guides, features and news all about your favorite shows, movies and games in the franchise.
