Amazon Prime Day is back…ish.

Amazon Prime members have a second chance to score some great discounts and deals this year as the site announces its first-ever Amazon Prime Big Deal Day event. First teased by Doug Herrington, CEO of Worldwide Amazon Stores LinkedIn This summer, the newly named Prime Big Deal Days event will take place on October 10th and 11th, with millions of deals across all of Amazon’s top categories.

The shopping event is expected to be similar to last year’s so-called Prime Early Access Sale (aka “Prime Day 2”) with 48 hours of deals. Herrington says the Prime Big Deal Day event will take place in 19 countries, including Australia, Canada, the US and the UK, and Amazon says the event is intended to “give our Prime members access to exclusive early bird discounts this season.” .

Is there a second Amazon Prime Day for 2023?

Yes, the rumors are true: Amazon has announced a second Prime Day-type shopping event for 2023. The new Prime Big Deal Day begins on Tuesday, October 10th at 3pm ET and runs through the end of Wednesday, October 11th.

Similar to last year’s second Prime Day, dubbed the Prime Early Access Sale, Prime Big Deal Days are a great opportunity to get a head start on your holiday shopping and get products in stock (and on sale) before the Black Friday rush ) to get .

Best Prime Big Deal Day Sales, Offers

Amazon expects the best deals on Dyson products this year (including its hair care devices, stick vacuums and air purifiers); Sony (headphones and televisions); Barbie; SharkNinja (hair styling tools and vacuum cleaners); iRobot (maker of the popular Roomba robot vacuum cleaners); LG, Peloton and Jabra, to name a few.

Last year’s top deals included discounts on top brands like Adidas and New Balance, as well as Amazon’s lowest prices of the year on beauty brands like Caudalie (Amazon is the French brand’s official retail partner), Murad and Philips Sonicare, maker of its best-selling brands rechargeable Sonicare toothbrushes and the popular “Power Flosser”.

Expect a slew of fall Prime Day deals from Amazon’s luxury and premium beauty division, which includes brands like Drunk Elephant, K-beauty classic Laneige, Kerastase, Sunday Riley, in addition to the aforementioned brands like Caudalie and Murad , Creed and others leads. In the premium beauty section, you’ll also find deals on celebrity-approved skincare (like KNOW Beauty by Vanessa Hudgens) and must-have collaborations, like the OPI x Barbie collection.

Toys and games will be heavily discounted – just in time for Christmas presents. Amazon’s second Prime Day features top deals from brands like Hasbro, LEGO and Disney, as well as the biggest discounts of the year on popular toys like Squishmallows.

Amazon also typically offers deals on streaming channels, which you can access through its Prime Video and Prime Channels hub.

And almost all of Amazon’s Alexa-enabled devices are expected to go on sale, including Fire TVs, Echo smart speakers and Fire TV Sticks. The best Prime deal we saw last year was 80 percent off select Fire TV smart TVs, with many models available under $100.

This year’s Fire TV sales include a Fire TV 32-inch 2-Series smart TV for $129 and a massive Fire TV 65-inch Omni Series 4K UHD for just $599.

This year, expect Prime Day deals of up to 65% on eero Pro mesh Wi-Fi systems; up to 45% on select Echo packages; and up to 30% on select Kindle e-reader bundles, including the Kindle Paperwhite Kids Essentials bundle and the Kindle Scribe Essentials bundle.
