“The Boys Spin-Off Reveals First Look at Jensen Ackles Cameo”
A look at the return of Jensen Ackles as The young Antagonist Soldier Boy in Gen V was revealed.
Entertainment Weekly revealed a look at Ackles’ return as Soldier Boy in Gen V, which you can see below. The context for the cameo is currently unclear. Speaking of cameo and its dynamics with The young Showrunner Eric Kripke, Ackles, explained, “He and I just bounced ideas around between takes and did workshops to come up with a whole bunch of different takes.”

Ackles isn’t the only actor out The young that will appear in Gen V. Jessie T. Usher will reprise his role as A-Train alongside Chace Crawford as The Deep, Colby Minifie as Ashley Barrett, Claudia Doumit as Congresswoman Victoria Neuman and PJ Byrne as filmmaker Adam Bourke.
The young In Season 3, Ackles was officially introduced as Soldier Boy. Soldier Boy, an early hero and member of the superhero team Payback, temporarily worked with the boys to defeat Homelander and The Seven after they woke him from cryosleep. But eventually the powerful Supe learned that he was actually Homelander’s father, which led to complications. In the end, Billy Butcher and his team incapacitated Soldier Boy and put him back into cryosleep. Honestly, I can’t see it The young We’re bringing Soldier Boy back in a spin-off series, so I suspect the cameo is set in the past.
A spin-off from The young, Gen V follows the young superheroes of the Godolkin University School of Crimefighting, an organization similar to Marvel’s X-Men. The main characters include Marie Moreau, who has the power to manipulate blood; Andre Anderson, who can do the same with metal; Emma Meyer, who can change size; and many more.
Gen V will be released on September 29th on Prime Video.
