President Biden and members of Congress applauded themselves for passing a $1.5 trillion spending bill last month. Now they are demanding a Covid spending allowance.
“Congress, please act. You must act immediately,” demanded Mr. Biden this week. “The consequences of inaction are grave.” His administration warns that monoclonal antibodies and antivirals will soon run out and booster shots may not be available this fall unless Congress allocates more money.
