The development at Gerards, Park, St Helens is fully occupied

AN INDUSTRIAL development completed five months ago is at full capacity supporting more than 130 jobs.

About the development

Northern Trust has confirmed that the property is now fully occupied following the completion of its new 35,773 sqft industrial facility in St Helens last August.

The second phase development at Gerards Park, prominently located on College Street, added 20 units to the popular project.

Built to high standards, they are arranged in three separate, terraced blocks ranging in size from 818 square feet to 2,900 square feet.

Phase two development was funded in part by the Local Growth Fund.

Local growth funding is awarded to the Liverpool City Region Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) and invested through the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority through its Strategic Investment Fund.

Northern Trust is a private family business, established in 1962, engaged in real estate investment, development and strategic land reclamation.

The new development sits adjacent to Northern Trust’s existing Gerards Park project, which was developed back in 2012 and is being actively managed by Whittle Jones, Northern Trust’s in-house management agents.

In total, Gerards Park now offers over 66,650 square feet in 41 individual units.

“We are pleased about the demand”

Whittle Jones’ Luke Blockley said: “The new units at Gerards Park have been built to high standards and have provided much needed workshop accommodation for small and medium sized businesses looking to establish or relocate in the area.

“We are pleased with the demand for the new premises, which is a testament to the high quality commercial space being provided in an excellent location. Phase 2 now hosts 18 different companies and supports over 130 jobs.”

“Currently our portfolio supports around 25,000 jobs across the UK.”
