The Doom Patrol season 4 trailer gives a taste of the DC team’s final mission

Doom Patrol has had a long and strange life, emerging right as the DCEU began to collapse and just before a pandemic struck, while launching on DC Universe, the titular company’s streaming platform before Max (then HBO Max) gobbled it up . But all strange things must come to an end, and Doom Patrol Being one of the strangest things finally comes to an end with the second half of season four, for which Max has just released a trailer.
For everyone who kept up Doom Patrol The trailer should make sense to those who haven’t yet… good luck. The weirdest and strangest of all DC shows, Doom Patrol has always been stranger than anything else in the multiverse and, paradoxically, probably would have lived quite well in James Gunn and Peter Safran’s new attempt at creating a DC cinematic universe. Instead, it all ends with one final adventure for the offbeat superhero team, with plenty of discussion about longevity. Yes, things are getting pretty meta this season… or even more meta. This season, the team finds themselves in a number of troubles that seem to have to do with their past, and of course, more butts attack. You can watch the trailer, released on YouTube, below.

Returning is the now Oscar-winning Brendan Fraser, who started his comeback not least thanks to his role as Robotman in the series, although he only acted as a voice actor for most of the series. Along with him are Matt Bomer, Diane Guerrero, April Bowlby, Joivan Wade, Michelle Gomez, Skye Roberts, Riley Shanahan and Matthew Zuk. The trailer also shows that the team’s old leader will make an appearance as Timothy Dalton makes an appearance. Many other callbacks can also be found in the trailer.
Doom Patrol will premiere with two episodes on Max on October 12th and then weekly until the finale on November 9th.
