The embattled Don Lemon will return to CNN this morning on Wednesday
Embattled CNN presenter Don Lemon is set to return to CNN This Morning on Wednesday – but has to undergo formal training following his litany of problematic on-air commentary.
According to a memo from CEO Chris Licht:
“I sat down with Don and had a frank and meaningful conversation. He has agreed to attend formal training and continue to listen and learn. We take this situation very seriously.”
“It’s important to me that CNN balances accountability with fostering a culture where people admit their mistakes, learn from them, and grow from them. To that end, Don will return to CNN This Morning on Wednesday.
The 56-year-old was spotted swimming and romping on the beach hours after attending a CNN editorial call from Miami, where he again apologized to staff for his comments
