The Honkai: Star Rail PS5 technical test will take place in September
During gamescom 2023, HoYoVerse announced the launch date for a Honkai: StarRail Technical PS5 test. It will take place on September 4, 2023. It’s not sure how long it will take, but data is rolling over to the PC and mobile versions, and it’s possible to purchase the Express Supply Pass, Nameless Glory, Nameless Medal, and Oneiric Shards. To have a chance to participate, people must register on the official website by August 28, 2023.
To register for an opportunity to participate, individuals must have a HoYoVerse account. You do not need a PlayStation Plus to participate, but you do need internet access. You can also jump in completely new and without a character, although people can log in with a character and use their existing character if their PSN account region matches your server’s Honkai: StarRail existing character is turned on. (So if someone already has an Americas region server character and is located in North America, Central America, or South America, they can use that PSN account and proceed.) Selected players will be notified via email.
The official PS5 version page also mentioned some rewards. The login requirement is a four-star Musketeer of Wild Wheat relic set that increases ATK, SPD, and base ATK damage when all four pieces are equipped on the same character. In addition, there are the following rewards for pre-registration:
- 100,000 pre-registrations: 10,000 credits
- 300,000 pre-registrations: 5 adventure logs
- 600,000 pre-registrations: 5 condensed ethers
- 1,000,000 Pre-Registrations: Four Stars The Seriousness of Breakfast Erudition Light Cone
Honkai: StarRail is available for PC and mobile and registration for the PS5 technical test on September 4, 2023 is open until August 28, 2023. The PS5 full version will be released later in 2023.
