The ‘incredible’ Barcelona player apparently has no desire to be a part of the Leeds-United swap

Leeds United have been linked with Francisco Trincao – but the Barcelona man prefers a loan move to Sporting to a permanent move.

Leeds won’t want Raphinha to leave the club this summer but they may have offers from Barcelona on the table.

Barca seem keen on Raphinha but may need to get creative to lure Leeds into a deal.

Mundo Deportivo noted this in March that Leeds could be tempted to put cash and winger Trincao in a deal for Raphinha.

It is now unlikely that Wolverhampton Wanderers will sign Trincao on a permanent basis this summer after a mixed loan spell at Molineux this season.

There is a permanent £25million option on loan from Wolves for Trincao, but we’d be stunned if that option were activated now.

Trincao, 22, scored against Leeds in March but it is his only Premier League goal of the season.

Trincao could end up behind at Barcelona and Leeds could be offered in a deal for Raphinha.

Branded ‘incredible’ by former Braga teammate Abel RuizTrincao is in danger of stalling its development and needs to find a home.

If Barcelona were looking to swap the 22-year-old for Raphinha, new reports could end those hopes prematurely.

O Jogo report that Trincao wants a loan move to Sporting in Portugal despite Barcelona wanting to sell him.

It sounds like Trincao is currently snubbing permanent departures to try and secure a loan return to Portugal.

Sporting wanted Trincao last summer but couldn’t secure a deal and the winger is now looking to finally make it.

That would effectively nullify any swap proposals from Leeds but if it means Raphinha staying at Elland Road then Leeds will be more than happy with Trincao’s stance.
