The Japan Game Awards 2023 Future Division winners will be announced

The Computer Entertainment Supplier’s Association (CESA) announced the winners of the Japan Game Awards 2023 Future Division on the final day of the Tokyo Game Show 2023. A total of 11 games received the award. Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, Metaphor: ReFantazioAnd Dragon’s Dogma 2 are some of the titles included in the list.

The association determined the winners by collecting votes from visitors over the first three days of the event from September 21 to 23, 2023. Japanese publishers will include this recognition in their games’ awards as evidence that they have aroused great interest among the Japanese public.

Received a special mention Zenless Zone Zero, the game developed by Chinese company miHoYo, was the only non-Japanese title to make the list. In the 2022 edition, the Indonesian indie game A space for the unbound achieved this feat.

  1. Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth
    Sega will publish the eighth main series Like a dragon Title for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC on January 26, 2024.
  2. Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road
    After a long break since the releases of Inazuma Eleven GO Galaxy: Big Bang And Supernova In 2013, Level-5 will release the latest installment in the series for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, iOS and Android in 2023.
  3. Reload Persona 3
    Atlus will bring the remake of the original 2006 entry Persona 3 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC on February 2, 2024.
  4. Sonic Superstars
    The new Sonic the Hedgehog The game, featuring four-player multiplayer, will be available on October 17, 2023 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC.
  5. Metaphor: ReFantazio
    The original fantasy role-playing game from Atlus’ Studio Zero, consisting of Persona 3, 4And 5 Developer, will be released in 2024 for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and PC.
  6. Zenless Zone Zero
    HoYoverse will release its latest title for PCs, mobile devices and unspecified consoles. The Chinese game’s publisher has not yet confirmed a release window of September 2023.
  7. Fate/Samurai Remnant
    The collaborative action role-playing game from Koei Tecmo and Type-Moon will be available on September 29, 2023 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and PC.
  8. Dragon’s Dogma 2
    Capcom will release the sequel to the 2012 action-RPG entry with a much larger map size for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC. The company has not yet confirmed its Tokyo Game Show 2023 release date.
  9. Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince
    The third main line Dragon Quest Monsters Entry alternatively known in Japan as Dragon Quest Monsters 3will be available for Nintendo Switch on December 1, 2023.
  10. Persona 5 Tactical
    Atlus will publish the turn-based strategy role-playing game Persona 5 Chibi art style characters for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC on November 17, 2023.
  11. Final Fantasy VII Rebirth
    Square Enix will publish the second part Final Fantasy VII Remake project for PlayStation 5 on February 29, 2024.
