Sadio Mane leaves Liverpool

Big hit

If Sadio Mane has decided to leave Liverpool this summer then we think it will be a huge blow for the Reds.

After all, he is one of the best players in coach Jürgen Klopp’s team.

The Senegalese is under contract with the Premier League club until 2023 but unless Liverpool sell him now they will lose him on a free transfer at the end of next season.

Liverpool paid Southampton £34m for Mane in 2016 (the athlete), and we think the FSG should now be asking at least £50m for him.

Yes, Mane is out of contract next summer but he is a world class player who is at the top of his game at the moment.
