The Liverpool ace has been in talks to replace Newcastle’s £33m target, now the deal is final

Divock Origi is set to leave Premier League giants Liverpool for Serie A challengers AC Milan but only after talks with Atalanta, as reported by tuttomercatoweb.
One of European football’s worst-kept secrets is about to become public knowledge. And no, we’re not referring to the fact that Granit Xhaka’s newfound role will cost Arsenal a Champions League spot.
Divock Origi’s Liverpool contract expires in July.
And he will ply his trade in 2022/23 for a side he scored the winner against in December at the San Siro.

Origi have already reached an agreement with AC Milan on an initial three-year deal worth £3million a year. Or £55,000 per week if you prefer.
It may also have taken longer than anticipated – some reports suggested that Origi might have been officially confirmed Rossoneri Players at the end of March – but now nothing seems to stand in the way of Milan.
And that includes their Serie A rivals.
Is Divock Origi on the verge of becoming an AC Milan player?
According to TMW, Inter and Juventus have already decided against competing offers for Liverpool’s man for the big occasion. A possible move to Turin failed.
Atalanta manager Gian Piero Gasperini held talks with Origi when it looked like Duvan Zapata was set to be on the move, but the Colombian powerhouse is now set to stay at Bergamo, eliminating the need for a new number nine.
Newcastle agreed a £100,000-a-week deal with Zapata in January.
However, Atalanta were less enamored with a deal that would have seen the £33million-rated former Napoli man move to St James’ Park on the first loan deal.
Zapata also came within reach of a deadline-day move to West Ham.
Corresponding Sky Sportsthe Hammers submitted their paperwork to the Premier League but time was running out when the window slammed shut on David Moye’s fingers.
It seems unlikely that Origi’s upcoming move to the San Siro will be as hectic. In fact, it could even be announced before the season is over.
