The Louisville Metro Police Foundation is asking for the community’s help after an LMPD officer was shot during a routine traffic stop in the Chickasaw neighborhood. According to a social media post from the foundation, Officer Brandon Haley successfully underwent two surgeries and is still on duty. He is in critical but stable condition. Haley’s doctors said they hope to wean him off the ventilator in the next few days. Officer Haley was shot early Thursday morning on South 40th near West Kentucky Street. Four people are charged with crimes related to the incident, but no one has been arrested for the shooting of Haley.
