‘The Masked Singer’ Reveal: Hibiscus Struggles With Doors

Warning: Major spoilers for Wednesday’s episode of “The Masked Singer”

On “The Masked Singer” Wednesday, the hibiscus reached full bloom and now the petals are coming off.

“The Real Housewives of New York” alum Luann de Lesseps was revealed to be a singer beneath the floral façade. While she told TheWrap that she “loved a good challenge,” there’s one thing she won’t miss: navigating her costume through doorways.

“It was so beautiful,” said the reality TV star-turned-cabaret star. “I was so happy to be this beautiful, beautiful flower. I had this backpack that contained the petals and I had to get used to moving around. I couldn’t get through any doors, I had to walk sideways!”

De Lesseps rose to fame as one of the original cast members of “Real Housewives of New York.” She was also one of the first Housewives to release a single – the 2010 Autotune classic “Money can’t buy lessons.”

As the single lyrics say, elegance is learned. But also singing.

“I had a singing teacher,” de Lesseps revealed. “I never say no to learning. I’m always trying to evolve and get better at what I do.”

De Lesseps will be taking her newfound stage presence on the road for her Countess Cabaret tour.

“I’m looking forward to introducing a whole new show in February for Valentine’s Day, but until then my shows are always new. There is always new content. You know, I have video clips of Crappie Lake, the song selections, the shows are always new. “F, Marry, Kill” will ring in 2024!”

In the meantime, you can next see the Countess in The Real Housewives: Ultimate Girls Trip RHONY Legacy, debuting in December on Peacock.
