The nine men – including one with ties to St Helens – are wanted by police

Investigations into the pursuit of the men are ongoing.

The men are: Phillip John Maddox, 52, is wanted in connection with an alleged domestic assault. He is described as having black short hair, green eyes, 5 feet 10 inches tall and of strong build. It has connections to Dublin, Belfast, Liverpool, St Helens and Wales. He is said to be working as a long-distance truck driver.

Andrew Armstrong, 37, failed to appear at Liverpool Crown Court in connection with a cannabis farm found in Birkdale, Southport, in 2017. Armstrong is described as white, 5 feet 9 inches tall, of medium height, with dark brown hair, green eyes and a beard, and has ties to Bootle, Southport, Kirkby and Wales.

Osman Mohamed, 37, is wanted in connection with a sexual assault. He is described as having black hair, brown eyes, 5 feet 7 inches, of medium build, and has a scar on his right arm. He was last seen in Dover in 2016.

Pshtiwan Hassan Mohammed, 33, failed to appear at Liverpool Crown Court in 2019 in relation to cannabis cultivation offences. Mohammed is described as an Arab, 5ft 9in tall, of medium build, black hair, brown eyes and a beard.

He also has a scorpion tattoo on his right arm with a Barcelona FC badge and a Barcelona Camp Nou tattoo on his left arm. He has connections to car washes in the North West and Birmingham. He has ties to Birmingham, Cheshire, Widnes, Manchester and Liverpool.

Artur Wereszczynski, 38, is wanted after he failed to show up for an extradition hearing to be deported to Poland after being convicted of assault and theft.

Wereszczynski is 5ft 9in, of proportionate build, with shaved receding hair and brown eyes, and has ties to Bootle, Birmingham, Southport, West Midlands and London.

Misan Adams, 41, is wanted in connection with alleged fraud offences. He is described as 6ft 2in tall, tall built with a large scar on his right cheek. He has connections in Scotland, Liverpool, Essex and London.

Shamal Saeed, 35, failed to appear in court in 2010 in connection with a sexual assault. Saeed is described as an Arabian, 5 feet 5 inches tall, of strong build, with black hair and brown eyes. He also has a 20cm burn on the right side of his face and a scar on his chin. He has ties to Liverpool, Birmingham, London and Bradford.

James Kelly, 60, is wanted in connection with alleged kidnapping and drug shipment. He is said to have grey, thinning hair, blue eyes, 1.60 meters tall, of medium height and an Irish accent. It has connections to Dublin, Liverpool, Ormskirk, Amsterdam, Hull and London.

Awale Mohammed Ahmed, 27, is wanted in connection with an alleged drug shipment and criminal felony. He is described as having black hair, brown eyes, 5 feet 11 inches tall and of medium build. He has ties to Liverpool and Birmingham.

Inspector Richard McKenzie said: “The men pictured have been wanted for some time but time is no obstacle to justice and our inquiries remain pending until they return to face trial.

“If you recognize any of them or have any information as to their whereabouts, let us know and we’ll do the rest.

“Due to the seriousness of the crimes they are being investigated for, we will not stop investigating until we have reported them.”
