“I thought that was my prize and put the ticket back in my purse,” the woman said. She told lottery officials that she only scratched the rest of the ticket when she got home, revealing the $50,000 prize.
“I saw that I had won more and I thought of a few choice words not to say,” she said in a press release about the lottery.
