She may be gracing the TV screens any day of the week, but Tracy Grimshaw is very private when it comes to her personal life and social media.
The TV icon, 62, appeared in a rare Instagram photo with ABC News Breakfast’s Lisa Millar, 53, on Wednesday while she was in London covering the death of Queen Elizabeth II.
In the photo shared by Millar, the couple can be seen smiling and laughing together outside Buckingham Palace.

“Finally I have to congratulate Tracy Grimshaw on her amazing career,” Millar wrote.
‘I just had to go to the other end of the world to catch her!’
Grimshaw, who has her own Instagram account but hasn’t posted since April, has yet to like or comment on Millar’s post.
Last week Grimshaw announced she was leaving A Current Affair after 17 years as a presenter and that her final night on the show will be in November.

She explained she was “tired” after decades of shift work and insisted she hadn’t been evicted from a “boys club” at Channel Nine.
“I’ve basically been a shift worker for 26 years, driving to work before dawn on the Today Show for nine years and driving home after dark here on A Current Affair for the last 17 years, and it’s time for less of this one daily commitment. she said at the end of the show on Monday night, September 5th.
Grimshaw concluded: “I’ll be there until November, then I’ll have a long holiday, but until then everything is business as usual. See you tomorrow night.’
In January 2006, she took over from Ray Martin as the presenter of A Current Affair, her best-known news role.

“She shamed me,” Martin said. “She’s so good. I love what she does and I love watching her.”
Young Grimshaw began her career in 1981 as a reporter in the newsroom at Nine in Melbourne.
The popular TV journalist celebrated his 40th anniversary on Channel Nine last October.
Deborah Knight, Georgie Gardner, Brooke Boney and Sylvia Jeffreys are among the frontrunners who could replace Grimshaw as A Current Affair host.
Nine insiders told the Daily Telegraph the network “won’t rush to fill the role as it’s “one of the most sought-after positions” on the network.
Deborah Knight, 49, currently hosts A Current Affair on Friday and Saturday – and was previously the presenter of Today and Nine News Sydney. She also replaced Steve Price as host at 2GB in January.
Also in the running is Georgie Gardner, 52. The Sydney-born presenter is a weekend presenter on Nine News Sydney and was previously the host of the Today Show.
Today entertainment reporter Brooke Boney, 35, and Today Extra co-host Sylvia Jeffreys, 36, are also among the names touted as Grimshaw’s replacements.
Former Sunrise co-host Sam Armytage, 46, who left the show in March to spend more time with her family, has also been named as a possible replacement alongside Karl Stefanovic – although it’s believed Nine executives are looking for a female journalist looking for who they can fill the role.
Grimshaw broke the news to viewers that she was leaving the show during Monday’s episode of the popular Nine Network programme
Leila McKinnon, 49, who also hosted ACA, is also said to have thrown her hat in the ring.
Grimshaw’s notable ACA interviews included her sit-downs with former NRL player Matthew Johns and disgraced TV presenter Don Burke.
Her interviews with former Prime Minister Bob Hawke and One Nation leader Pauline Hanson were also highly acclaimed.

Grimshaw recently had the opportunity to speak to Prime Minister Scott Morrison about the rape allegations made by former political aide Brittany Higgins.
It was the first interview Mr. Morrison had sat down about the allegations and their impact on his government.
In May, she made headlines for a heated interview with Morrison ahead of the general election.
Although known as a feared journalist with a no-nonsense attitude, she also has a lighter side.
2018 saw Grimshaw attend the Gold Logie for the first time – and although she didn’t win, she was really delighted to be nominated.
“I still can’t quite believe it. I never quite introduced myself in that room,” she told AAP. “It’s a great honor and a thrill and a pleasure.”
