The Premier League club are now open to talks about selling the £50m Arsenal target to Tottenham

Tottenham are looking to sign Richarlison this summer and Everton are ready to hold talks over a move for the Brazilian attacker.

Tottenham have opened their summer window with two free agent signings as Fraser Forster and Ivan Perisic have arrived.

However, Antonio Conte will also want money to be spent on signings and another attacker is being sought.

Adding competition is key for Harry Kane, but given his massive workload and talismanic stature, any flashy addition may need to be versatile enough to play wide as well.

It should therefore come as no surprise that Tottenham are keen to sign Richarlison.

Tottenham want to sign Richarlison

Reports from UOL in Richarlison’s native Brazil hinted over the weekend that Tottenham were in advanced talks to sign the Everton striker.

That has been downplayed by English sources but it seems clear Tottenham are into Richarlison.

This is now reported by the Daily Mail that Tottenham are more serious than Real Madrid or Paris Saint-Germain in the race for Richarlison.

It is noted that Everton are aware that Tottenham want Richarlison and are indeed open to talks of a deal.

Everton don’t want to lose Richarlison for less than £50m meaning Tottenham face significant expenses.

Richarlison has scored pretty much every three games for Everton so there will be some questions about the fee.

Given that Everton paid big bucks in 2018, it always took a hefty offer to entice them into selling.

Tottenham’s interest makes sense too. Able to play far or up front, Richarlison offers the ideal versatility in attack, while his intensity is sure to please Conte.

Richarlison still has a lot of untapped potential at 25 and has already proven his quality in the Premier League.

Arsenal have also been targeting Richarlison lately as they are desperately chasing a new striker, but it now looks like Tottenham are in the front row seat.
