The prosecution of Banana Republic in Michigan – WSJ

The prosecution of political opponents is a feature of banana republics that have increasingly infected the United States. A case in point is the prosecution of former GOP Governor Rick Snyder in the Flint water case, for which the Supreme Court of the state unanimously declared it invalid this week.
Democrats claim the former Governor and his staff ignored Flint’s problem with leaded water, never mind that the Obama Environmental Protection Agency knew about it and did nothing. . Democratic Attorney General Dana Nessel has ordered Attorney General Fadwa Hammoud and Wayne County District Attorney Kym Worthy to investigate Flint’s failure.
