The Rangers-linked player now has an £82million release clause

Well, Rangers have officially missed out on an exciting transfer target.
In January, Scotland-based publication The Record claimed Rangers were interested in signing Pablo Torre.
The 18-year-old has caught the eye following his performances for Racing Santander this season.
And of course the Ibrox team, managed by Giovanni van Bronckhorst, are said to have been keen to bring the Spaniard to Glasgow.
However, Fabrizio Romano has broken some bad news for Rangers in this regard.

The Italian journalist revealed that the potential teenager has opted to join Xavis Barcelona instead.
Torre is originally set to join the B team in Catalonia but in the longer term he could very well make a splash in the senior team.
The La Liga team clearly have high hopes for him, evidenced by the fact that his release clause at Barcelona is £82million – according to Romano.
Here’s what he tweeted about the Rangers-linked sensation:
The loan system is good and Rangers could potentially inquire about signing him on a temporary basis this summer.
Brushing your teeth in Scotland could be ideal for young Spaniards and who knows, maybe the light blues’ interest isn’t exhausted yet.
But to sign him permanently? Well, that dream is dead.
