The Soros-backed prosecutors “attempted to destroy the system” by placing the police on the “exclusion list,” the official says

A retired homicide detective from St. Louis, Missouri, says he was one of many officers placed by a prosecutor on an “exclusion list” that barred him from police work and forced the system to “collapse.”

Roger Murphey, who left the police force in 2021, said he had to ask other officers to file paperwork like warrants and subpoenas for him after George Soros-backed District Attorney Kimberly Gardner put him on the infamous “exclusion list.”

Murphey said a social media post of his criticizing Gardner’s soft approach helped get him on the list.

It’s believed about 75 police officers could be on Gardner’s list, preventing her from bringing cases to her office and fulfilling the scope of her law enforcement work. They are also gagged when talking about the list.

Gardner addressed the infamous list in 2019, arguing that they were dealing with officials who had credibility concerns and whose “integrity was compromised.” The TA didn’t elaborate.

Gardner, who was elected by billionaire George Soros, has come under increasing scrutiny for her actions in St. Louis law enforcement.

Murphey said he could only sit there, “collecting dust and just picking up a paycheck” because the “exclusion list” prevents him from doing his police work.

“And what use am I here to the citizens? So I said, “Well, I’m going to retire to turn in my papers,” Murphey said.

The St. Louis Police Pension Board found that 819 police officers have left Gardner’s department since the prosecutor’s office joined the office in 2017. Between 2017 and 2019, an average of 119 police officers left the department each year.

Aside from being barred from filing police records, some cases are dropped entirely if an officer on the list is considered a key witness. If Gardner’s office views the key official as lacking integrity and biased, the case may not go to prosecution at all.

“This was a political effort by her (Gardner), had nothing to do with bias,” Murphy told Fox News Digital.

“If it’s true, if it was biased, then take me before a judge, prove I’m biased – and she didn’t.” If I’m biased, why did you have to have a secret list, you know? Because I’m not biased. Why was it ordered not to talk about it? No transparency.’

He added: “I’ve been here for 26.5 years. Open all my cases. bring it forward Why don’t you reopen these cases? And the simple answer is because she’s lying.

“And it was a political stunt because she wanted fewer cops on the force and fewer arrests and arrests went down.”

Murphey said he was listed for two social media posts — one of which criticized prosecutors and their approach to prosecutions. The retired official said you would be ‘blackballed’ by Gardner if you openly criticized her.

“She has very thin skin. I think she’s a very shallow person. And her whole thing was, we’re not going to lock anyone up and we’re not going to jail anyone. Well, that’s not what the police are made for. We were created to protect citizens,” Murphey told Fox News Digital.

The list was created in 2018 after the Philadelphia-based Plain View Project examined thousands of Facebook posts by St. Louis officials.

It was noted that some of the posts displayed the Confederate flag, suggesting that Black History Month was racist, bashing protesters and poking fun at foreign accents.

Gardner addressed the list in 2019, when 22 officers were “disfellowshipped” for their social media posts, saying in a press release, “When a police officer’s integrity is compromised in this way, it puts the entire criminal justice system and ours at risk.” ability to pursue justice.

“After carefully examining the underlying bias in these social media posts, we have concluded that this bias would likely affect an officer’s ability to perform his or her duties with an open mind.”

Gardner is one of many liberal lawyers that George Soros has thrown millions at.

Soros has effectively funded the campaigns of prosecutors across the country to implement a liberal vision of law enforcement.
