Their youngest daughter, Lisa Molyneux, 47, told the star: “Dad was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in July and we found out he was terminal, he didn’t know that but we all knew and so did mum.

St. Helens Star:

“On the 8th (December) Dad died at home, we knew it was coming but then we told Mom at the hospital. She died six hours later.

“We found out later that she had sepsis and pneumonia, but she didn’t let anyone know she was struggling. We think she held on to him, she wouldn’t leave until he did, and once we told her he was gone, so was she.

“It’s heartbreaking, but Mom always said, ‘You’re not going anywhere without me,’ she said it the whole time. They couldn’t live without each other.”
